Currently, I am working with a project to only simulate hand and fingers movements in computer in real-time. I only have one device that gives me the kinematics data for hand and fingers from a subject in real-time in matlab. I want to send point by point data to MuJoCo to visualize the movements in real-time, as well. First question is that is it possible to use MuJoCo haptix for this purpose? If yes, how to make this real-time communication with matlab? Thanks, Reza
You can do this with the function mj_set_state, see here: http://www.mujoco.org/book/haptix.html#mj_set_state Set qpos to the joint data you have, and qvel to 0.
